Kev Parry The George Michael Story

Kev Parry was introduced to the guitar at age 13 when he stumbled upon a cassette of John Williams playing Cavatina. However, the affair with the classical guitar took a turn months later when he saw Queen at Live Aid and promptly defected to the electric guitar, intent on being Brian May. He then spent many years treading the boards in and around the Liverpool music scene in various bands.

Fast forward a couple of years, graduating with a B.A.(Hons) at the Open University and Grade 8 ABRSM classical guitar, with distinction, his musical journey has taken him all over the UK and into Europe. He has performed touring shows of ABBA, The Blues Brothers and MUSE.

Years later he performed as Brian May in a touring Queen tribute fulfilling a dream.

Kev also writes and records his own compositions. He likes biscuits.
